As you enter the historic town of Chinon, there's a rather large antiques/bric-a-bac/museum/garden furniture warehouse. From chateau doors to manor gates, large cast iron pots and garden statues. Plus a very impressive range of large marble and stone fireplaces that have come direct from a 17th century ruin. Worth a rummage. But how to fit it in the valise?
