St Patrick's Day 17 March

St. Patricks Festival 2009 will run from:

Thursday 12th – Tuesday 17th March 2009.
The parade will be held on Tuesday 17th March 2009.

Too many activities and festivities to mention but expect street theatre, family carnivals, comedy, street performances, dance, a treasure hunt and night spectacles.

The whole world celebrates this annual celebration of the patron saint.

Marshes Library

Founded in 1702 this was Ireland's first public library. Within the stones walls are 25,000 books dating back to the 16th Century some your just cannot borrow but you are allowed to sneak a look.
